Torlesse Travel Ltd was started in 1995 by Tony and Sandra Rabbidge.

The company originally owned 6 school buses based at the foot of the Torlesse
Mountain Range in the small rural community of Oxford, which is still the companies
base today. Over the years the company has grown to a fleet size of 27 vehicles
which is mainly comprised of school and charter buses.
The recent addition of two tour coaches to the fleet has lifted the companies profile
around New Zealand and in particular, the South Island.

Tony and Sandra do not aim to be the biggest school bus operators in the country
by any means, as their focus is on ensuring that every client receives a service beyond
expectations. "Our aim is that you are impressed with our service, the vehicles and
drivers you encounter in your Torlesse experience. For you, as our client, to tell others
and use us again, is our satisfaction."
